Me And My Mum

This is a  poem I made for my mum on Mother's Day, the whole class had to do one. On Friday, all the mums came to a Mother's Day celebration in Rimu  at Ormond School and I gave this poem to my mum. It was fun because we decorated a cupcake for our mum and we made a cup of tea for them too.  We played games.  I liked playing l Animal Bingo with my mums.

How have you been kind this week? I have been kind by helping mum and dad by cleaning up the horse truck.  This is a messy job that no one likes to do.

What questions have you asked this week? What did you do in the Easter holidays and they told me what I did then I told them what I did.

What is one thing that you have learned this week ? I learnt how to count money so when I grow up I know how to pay for staff and get food for me.

What was your favourite Mistake getting my dollar signs the wrong way around in my work shop put I stole got all my questions right     

How can you make next week great by getting all my work done and helping others finishing their work

 

How Maui fish up the North Island

Today we did a play about how Maui fished up the North Island

I was the second Bother and I had to say 'it's a shark".

The hardest part was to remember my lines because we had to know when we had to say it .

It was fun because I  had to sit on the seat and say it's a shake.

 Today I was learning how to insert callouts in Google slides.

My callouts showed how to take care with my Chromebook.

I enjoyed searching for the green keyboard because it was the easiest part.

I found it tricky to think of things that I can fit in my speech bubble because I couldn't think of many ideas.

Self-portrait

 Today we were learning to make a self portrait of us using the curve and polyline drawing tool on Google slides. Next time I would change the colour of my face because I couldn't get the right colour. The hardest part was trying to do my eyes because I couldn't get the right shape and it was uneven. I enjoyed putting all of the colours on my face because I found that the easiest thing to do.

 Today I was learning how to use my webcam to take images and insert them into my slide.

My slides show how I do a forklift hole and you hold it like that so you don't drop your Chromebook
